It was quite an eventful Festive period for our team here this year. As many will know we operate a 24 hour a day helpline 365 days a year to support the hospitality industry and our clients.
Most Christmases this means one of our solicitors having to deal with emergency applications. Usually to change the DPS at a site and ensure trading can continue at the busiest time of year. This year was no different in that regard with applications being submitted over the Christmas weekend to keep pubs trading.
However this year was different in that one of our Partners Christopher Grunert found himself dealing with not one but two Closure Orders over the Christmas and New Year weekends. The former requiring attendance before Sheffield Magistrates court on Boxing Day.
This just goes to show we are a truly 24 hour day 7 day a week Licensing Practice – no matter the time of year we are there for our clients.
